Pickles                                                  Mrs. Bechtel

1 gal vinegar

1 cup salt

1 cup mixed mustard

1 cup b. sugar

15cents saccharine

Wash & dry pickles thoroughly.  Stir mixture thoroughly, put pickles in jars and cover with mixture.  Add 3 inch piece of horse radish root on top of jar.
