1 lb. quince (grate)

½ pt. water

Boil 20 minutes

From another book, in Milford Connecticut in the 1910’s to 20’s, this is another recipe for Quince Honey.

Quince Honey

6 quinces (peeled)

4 lbs. of sugar

2 oranges (do not peel)

1 qt. of water

Grate quince and oranges or just through the fine grater.

Boil all together ½ to ¾ of an hour.
