Nut Bread                                                       Linette

Sift together 3 ½ cups of flour

3 teaspoons of baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ cup sugar

1 cup chopped nuts

1 beaten egg

½ cup sweet milk

Let stand 10 minutes.  Bake 45 minutes in slow oven
