1 cup sugar

Butter size of egg

1 teaspoon soda

1 cup sour milk

½ cup sugar

2 teaspoons butter

1 cup flour

½ cup nuts

2 teaspoons of B.P.

¼ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Mix all together.

Sauce

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups boiling water

Drop batter by spoonful in sauce and bake ¾ hour, about 350degrees.
