Snow Ball Pudding Josie McKean
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
Whites of 3 eggs beaten to a stiff froth
1 teaspoon cream tartar, ½ teaspoon soda
1 cup sweet milk
2 cup flour
Flavor with vanilla
Beat thoroughly and fill cups half full. Steam half hour. Serve with whipped cream, sweeten to taste. This rule makes one dozen.

French Fried Sandwich
Grind up any leftover meat and mix with chili sauce use as a filling for sandwich – dip sandwich in egg and fry to golden brown in butter.

Baked Apples Laura Rochester Sept 8 ‘29
Core apples and put in covered pan with about ½ cup water or less. Cook over burner – about 12 or 15 min. Take apples out and put in individual dishes.
Take remaining juice and add ½ cup cream,1 egg (beaten), about ¼ cup sugar or more, ½ cup ground walnuts and (?) until fairly thick. Add to apples. (I egg to each two apples)
