Aug 5 – 1951

Blueberry Cup Cakes

1 c sugar                                  ½ c milk                                   pinch salt

½ c shortening                       2 c flour                                   ¼ t. nutmeg

2 eggs                                      3 t. Bkpd.                                1 c blue berries

1 t. vanilla

Cream sugar & shortening – add the beaten eggs – mix dry ingredients and add to first mixture alternately with milk & vanilla.  Add blue berries which have been dusted with a little of the flour.  Bake at 375degrees for 45 min. or until done.
