Cookies                                                              Sarah Gordon (Good)

½ cup spry or Crisco

½ cup sugar

Add

2 eggs well beaten

2 ½ cups flour

2 tsps. Baking powder

¼ tsps. salt

2 tsps. Vanilla

Bake about 10 min. in a moderate oven

Sand Tarts                                                          Mrs. Moist (Good)

½ cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 egg well beaten

2 tsp. B. powder

2 ¼ cups flour
