Cranberry Pie

1 cup cranberry’s halved

½ cup raisins

1 cup sugar

1 cup cold water

Bake slowly with two crusts

Cherry Snickerdoodle                                     (Elsie)

1 egg

¾ cup of sour cream or milk

2 cups of flour

¼ tsp. of soda

3 tsp. of B.P.

¾ tsp. of salt

2 tbsp. sugar

1 can of sour cherries

Beat eggs and cream, stir in the sifted dry ingredients toss on floured board, roll into an oblong piece ¼ in. thick.  Spread lightly with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and nutmeg, spread the cherries over top and roll like jelly roll.  Cut in 1 in. slices, place in a deep pan and pour over them ¾ cup white sugar, ¾ cup brown sugar ,1 tsp. almond extract, 2 tbsp. corn starch, 1 ½ tbsp. cornstarch, 1 ½ tbsp. butter, 1 cup cherry

(It has cornstarch with two different measurements, I do not know which one is correct, or if you need both.)
