Banbury Pies
1 lemon 2 eggs
2 cups sugar
½ lbs. raisins chopped
Grate lemon peel make rich crust cut small size fill with mixture.
Bake in dripping pan.

Aunt Hattie’s Peach Luscious Mrs. Lichly
Batter
¼ cup sugar
2 eggs (separate)
3 tablespoons of Crisco
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1 cup flour
½ cup of milk
3 teaspoons of B.P.
½ teaspoon salt
8 to 10 peaches
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Beat up egg whites.
Add ¼ cup p. sugar
Bake about 30 minutes at 350 cover with meringue and brown. Half the peaches put in bottom of dish cover with the sugar and lemon juice put the batter on top.
