Apple Cream Cake

1 egg

1 cup butter

½ cup milk

1 ½ cups flour

2/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cream of tarter

½ teaspoon soda

Corn Pone or Puff

1 ½ cups of corn meal

1 ½ cups of wheat flour

1 ½ cups of sweet milk

½ cup butter or lard

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

3 small teaspoons of B.P.

Mix all together.     

Mix like the waffle recipe
