Canned Tomatoes   (Bess’s Recept)  Good

Pack tomatoes in jars raw, one teaspoon of salt to each pint jar.  Set jars in kettle of cold water up to top of jar.  Bring to a hard boil, turn off gas and let stand in hot water 10 minutes, let cool and put away.  Tighten jar tops before.
