Philly Candy

Standard Divinity Candy
2 cups sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
Pinch salt
½ cup hot water
2 egg whites
1 t. vanilla
Dissolve sugar, syrup and salt in hot water, boil with-out stirring. Pour to slow in beaten egg whites.

Choc Philly Fudge
13 oz pkg. Philly cheese
2 cup sifted P. Sugar
2- 1 oz sq. of melted unsweetened choc.
¼ t vanilla
Salt
½ cup nuts
Place cream cheese in bowl, cream till soft & smooth, slowly add P. sugar, then melted choc., vanilla, mix well. Press into a greased shallow pan or drop. Place in Ref. about 15 min. Cut in squares. For softer blend in 6 tsp. cream.
Coconut Fudge. Follow choc. Fudge except use 2 ½ cup P. sugar, ½ cup coconut is all.

Sugar Cookies

Sugar Cookies
1 cup sugar
¾ cup spry
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk
½ teas. Soda dissolved in S. milk
½ teas. Salt
½ t. nutmeg
Flour enough to make a soft dough.
