Gingersnaps
Cream together:
1 c. sugar
¾ c. shortening
1 egg
¼ c. molasses
Sift together 3 times:
3 c. flour (after sifting)
Add 1 t. ginger
1 t. cinnamon
Salt
2 t. soda
Add to first mixture. Form into small balls – dip into gran. Sugar. Bake at 375 degrees. Remove when slightly cool –
