Schaum Torte
2 c. sugar 6 egg whites 1 t. vinegar
1 level t. cream of tartar 1 pinch salt
1 t. vanilla
Put all ingredients in large bowl & whip with wire whip until bowl can be turned up side down. Butter well 2 layer tins. Bake in slow oven for 45 min. Very slowly at first. Serve with whipped cream & strawberries.
