White Cookies

¾ C. sugar

¼ C. butter                                                  or 1 cup sour cream

¼ C. lard                                                      2/3 cup butter & lard

1 egg

½ teas. Lemon

¼ cup sweet milk with 1 level T. soda dissolved

Stir well.  Flour to soft dough.
