Raisin Filled Cookies

1 cup sugar

½ cup butter & lard

1 egg

½ cup sweet milk

1 t. soda

2 tsp. cream of tarter

Vanilla, salt

Flour to roll thin

Filling

Cook together

1 cup raisins

½ cup sugar

½ cup water

1 teas. Corn starch

Little lemon juice.
