Fruit Cake

1/3 cup Crisco

1 cup sugar

1 cup applesauce

1 tsp. soda

3 cups flour

1 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. cloves

¼ tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ginger

¾ cup raisins

¼ cup currents

½ cup ground nuts

¼ cup fruit rinds

Cream Crisco and sugar

Blend with applesauce mixed with soda.  Dry ingredients mixed together.  Bake in oven 350degrees.
