One Egg Cake

3 cups flour

1 ½ cups sugar

1 cup sweet milk

1 egg

2 tablespoon butter

2 teaspoon cream tarter

1 teaspoon soda

Flavor with lemon

Lemon Sponge Pie                 Mrs. Minnick

½ lemon

2 eggs

1 tablespoon corn starch

3 tablespoons sugar

1 pint milk

Mix the sugar, corn starch, yolk of egg, and milk together.  Put in crust and bake.  White of egg on top.
