Cream Cake

1 cup sour milk

1 tablespoon sour cream or butter

2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup Indian meal

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon soda

Cottage Pudding 

¼ cup shortening

½ cup sugar

1 egg beaten

1 cup milk

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon B.P.

Cream the shortening, add sugar gradually and cream the two.  Stir in the well beaten egg and milk alternately with the flour mixed and sifted with salt and B.P. bake in well-greased pan.

It also says 1 cup or more of ?  Not exactly sure what the word is, maybe fruit?
