Chocolate Cake
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
½ cup melted butter
½ cup grated chocolate
½ cup milk
1 ½ flour

2 cups flour (bread)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs (beaten separately)
2 cups milk
4 tablespoonsful melted butter
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into mixing bowl.
Beat yolks well and add milk and beat, adding this to the flour slowly beating until perfectly smooth. Add melted butter and fold in the whites stiffly beaten.
NOTE! If pastry flour is used, alow 1 ½ cups of milk to 2 cups of flour.
