Sour Pickles

To

1 gal cold vinegar add

1 cup sugar

1 cup salt

1 cup dry mustard

Place in a jar over pickles and stir once a day for a week.

Gingerbread

Big ½ cup sugar

½ cup molasses

Put into this 2 teas. Soda

1 egg

About ¾ cup sour milk

Little ginger, cinnamon

Flour

Beat well.  Last put in ½ cup melted butter.
