1 cup sugar                                1 ts. Soda 1 ts. B.P.

1 cup raisins                              ½ ts. Cloves

           Dates & ½ nuts

1 egg                                           1 ts. Cinnamon

½ ts. Vanilla

1 ½ cups flour – 2 cups  – scant
