Mincemeat
3 lbs. raisins
1 ½ lb. suet
2 lbs. currants
2 lbs. sultanas
2 lbs. apples
1 ½ lbs. sugar
½ lb. mixed peel
1 nutmeg
1 bottle brandy
2 lemons

Wrawley, 1908

Mince Pies
One pound of suet, one pound of currents, one pound of sugar, three quarter’s of a pound of raisins, one ounce of candied peel, one ounce of citron and a little brandy.

Raised Crust
¼ lb. of flour, 1 lb. of lard, and 1 pint of milk.

Rolled Paste
4 lbs. flour
3 lbs. lard
Make a nice paste for fruit tarts.

Pork Pie Crust
3 ½ lbs. flour, 1 pt. (pint) water, ¾ lb. lard, ½ lb. butter, will make 4 pies.
