Fruit Cake

2 pounds butter                      20 eggs

2 pounds sugar                       1 tsp. soda

3 pounds flour                        2 tsp. cream of tartar

2 pounds currants                 1 tbsp. mace

2 pounds raisins                    1 tbsp. cinnamon

1 ½ pounds citron                 2 tsp. cloves

3 cups molasses                    2 grated nutmegs

Bake 3 hours
