Cream Sponge Cake

2 eggs broken in cup and beaten, then cup filled with sweet cream.

1 cup sugar

1 ½ cup flour – sift into flour 1 teasp. Cream tartar ½ teasp. Soda.  Sugar stirred into flour etc, then the eggs, beat thoroughly, little salt.    Mr. Henry Fuller

Chili Sauce

8 qts. Of tomatoes (grind)

1 cup of peppers

1 cup onions

½ cup salt

5 cups sugar

1 ½ qts or 3 cups of vinegar

1 hot pepper

Put everything together

2 teaspoons cloves

3 teaspoons cinnamon

Boil 2 hrs.
