June 17, 1936
Tomato Aspic Pie
1 pkg. Royal gelatine dessert (lemon flavor)
1 2/3 C. strained tomato juice
1 t. salt 1/8 t. pepper 1/8 t cloves
¾ t. grated onion
¼ t. paprica
¼ C. vinegar or lemon juice
Use following for filling centers
1 avocado
2 cabbage salad
3 cottage cheese

Ham Loaf
1 lb. smoked ham ground
2 lbs. fresh pork – ground
2 eggs
1 ½ C. breadcrumbs
¼ t. pepper
Mix together & shape into loaf, cook 1 ½ hrs. in moderate oven and when nearly finished pour over the top 1 can of tomato sauce and baste. This is delicious when served cold.
