Here are several recipes from this wonderful cookbook! Some are kind of, well, strange, (like the Queen Toast) but some sound really nice.

Queen Toast

Ingredients: – This slices of bread, fat, boiling water, jam, castor sugar

Mode: – Fry bread in very hot fat till a golden brown color, dip quickly into boiling water to remove grease.  Place jam between each round, sprinkle castor sugar over and serve on a hot dish.
